I purchased this Shark Rocket Pet plus about a year ago after my first Shark Rocket of 10 years bit the dust. After almost daily use of vacuuming up pet hair with my old Shark vacuum, replacing it with another Shark Rocket was an easy choice.
Pros and Cons of Owning the Shark HV322 Rocket Pet Plus:
Shark Rocket Pros:
- It’s lightweight making it easier to maneuver and no strain on my back. I live in a small single wide trailer and it’s perfect for moving around small spaces.
- It’s easy to clean. It has foam filters that I rinse out in the kitchen sink and wash with dish soap. Sometimes after they dry I add a few drops of essential oils to the foam filters for a calming aroma as I vacuum.
- The bagless dust cup catches all dirt and pet hair making it easy to empty.
- Its sleek design and easy release pedal makes it easy to go from cleaning the floors, to vacuuming the furniture, to reaching cobwebs on the ceiling in seconds.
- The lights on the front make it easy to see so you don’t miss anything.
- It works great on hard surfaces, upholstery, and carpets. I even started using the brush attachment to vacuum off hard surface furniture before I dust with furniture polish, it keeps from spreading the pet hair around.
Shark Rocket Cons:
- The only problem I have had with the Shark HV322 Rocket Pet Plus is that my long hair gets wrapped around the brush roller. If anyone in your household has long hair be prepared to periodically remove it from the brush roller. It’s pretty simple, just cut the hair with scissors and pull it out of the roller. This is not a deal breaker for me because I would have to do this on any vacuum.
