“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Isaiah 40:29 NIV
We all have days when it feels like everything goes wrong and there’s no clear end in sight. Problems pile up, energy runs low, and discouragement creeps in quietly. These are the moments that truly test our faith, not because God has changed, but because we must choose where to place our focus.
When life feels overwhelming, we’re often tempted to give our attention to fear. Fear magnifies what we lack and convinces us we are alone. Faith, however, reminds us of who God is and what He promises. God does not ask us to be strong on our own. Instead, He offers His strength when ours runs out.
When the bank account is low, keep your faith account full. When your energy is depleted, lift your spirit by leaning into God’s presence. And when darkness seems to surround you, fix your eyes on Jesus. His light is steady, faithful, and powerful enough to guide you through even the hardest seasons.
God sees your weariness. He knows your weakness. And He promises to meet you there with renewed strength.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for seeing me in my weariness and meeting me in my weakness. When I feel exhausted, discouraged, or afraid, remind me that Your strength is always available. Help me to choose faith over fear and to fix my eyes on Jesus when the path feels dark. Renew my spirit today and fill me with the power that only You can give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
