Get Rid of Iron Water Residue with One Cleaner
One thing I have had a difficult time finding is how to clean when your well water is full of iron and turns everything a orange/yellow tent. It builds up over a short amount of time and before you know it you find yourself scrubbing the sink, tub, shower, and toilet again. Any one who has never delt with a lot of iron in their water will think you never clean but those who have it know it only takes a few days to start turning everything orange and yellow again.
I wanted to share one of my favorite cleaners for cleaning up hard water stains and making everything look new!
Bar Keepers Friend powder cleaner is also my best friend, I just use a rag to make a paste and scrub the iron away. An old toothbrush works for cleaning around fixtures.
I also use Bar Keepers Friend to clean my stainless steel pots and pans and remove stains from coffee cups. It keeps them looking new!
