“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18 NIV

There’s something sacred about broken places.
Not because the pain is good—but because God meets us there in a way we don’t experience anywhere else.
We spend so much of life trying to hold ourselves together, to appear strong, to keep the cracks hidden. But God doesn’t require us to be strong — He welcomes surrender.
It’s often in the breaking that we finally loosen our grip… and let Him hold us.
Your brokenness is not a sign of failure—it’s an invitation.
An invitation to be held.
To be healed.
To be seen fully and loved completely.
God doesn’t waste pain. He redeems it.
And sometimes, the very place that hurt you becomes the place His light shines through you most.
Reflection Questions:
1. What areas of my life feel broken right now?
2. Have I invited God into those places, or tried to handle them alone?
3. How could God use my story to bring hope to someone else?
Dear Heavenly Father, You see every broken place in my heart. Nothing is hidden from You. Thank You for drawing near to me in my pain instead of turning away. Help me release what I’ve been holding tightly and trust You to restore what feels lost. Use even my wounds for Your purpose and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
